Survey Preparation

Preparing the vessel for inspection (regardless of the type of inspection) will save valuable time and possibly expense on the day of survey.  Have the vessel available and as orderly as possible.  Let others involved in the inspection process know your plans. 

Preparing For A Pre-purchase Marine Survey
Buying a boat can be an exciting time and the process can sometimes move very quickly. But it is important to allow enough time to engage the survey services necessary to accomplish the crucial pre-purchase inspection, have the report compiled and review the final report findings.

Keep in mind that availability of the vessel, people involved in the sale, yard schedules and even the weather come into play when scheduling your survey.
